1. General

These General Terms and Conditions govern all orders placed through the website poterie-zug.ch, operated by Poterie Zug, Baarerstrasse 12, 6300 Zug, Switzerland. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; the version in effect at the time of your order shall apply.

2. Products & Availability

All products displayed on our website are handcrafted ceramics. Due to the nature of handmade goods, slight variations in colour, shape, and glaze are inherent and do not constitute defects. Product images are illustrative; the actual item may differ slightly. All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities and to discontinue products without prior notice.

3. Prices & Payment

All prices are listed in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include VAT where applicable. Payment is due at the time of order. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, and TWINT. Your order is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed. We reserve the right to cancel orders if payment cannot be verified.

4. Order Process & Contract

Placing an order on our website constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation by email. We reserve the right to refuse orders at our discretion, for example if a product is no longer available or if we suspect fraudulent activity.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We ship throughout Switzerland and to selected European countries. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Standard delivery within Switzerland is 3 to 5 business days. International shipping times vary by destination. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. 6. Returns & Refunds

You may return undamaged products within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. Items must be returned in their original packaging and unused condition. Custom or personalised items cannot be returned unless defective. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the return is due to our error. 7. Warranty & Liability

All products are covered by the statutory warranty under Swiss law (Art. 197 ff. of the Swiss Code of Obligations). Defects must be reported within a reasonable period of discovery. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the defective product. We are not liable for damage caused by improper use, negligence, or normal wear and tear.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and product designs, is the property of Poterie Zug and is protected by Swiss and international copyright law. Reproduction, distribution, or public display of any content without our written consent is prohibited.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Zug, Switzerland. The application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is excluded.
